Fall Baseball

Fall baseball registration for 2022 is now closed.

We plan on releasing the teams and schedules in your SportsEngine account by August 21st.  You should hear from your coach shortly thereafter.

First games will be August 27th.  No games Labor day weekend.

As Fall Ball is more laid-back than the spring and summer sessions, it is possible that your team won't have a practice before your first game.

Please note: Pony schedules will be posted on the  Chicago Suburban Youth Baseball Association website.

Missed the registration for Fall Ball? We hope to see you back for the spring season in 2023. Registration for Spring will open 1/1/23 and end on 2/28/23. Mark your calendars so you don't miss it!

Evanston Travel Baseball Tryouts for 2023 Season

The Evanston Baseball / Softball Association announces its tryouts for the 2023 baseball season.
All tryouts will be at James Park. To be eligible to tryout, players must:

  • Live in School District 65 and/or be eligible to attend ETHS by living in School District 202
  • Not miss more than a week during the travel season, basically from Memorial Day forward.  (For example, a week at Camp Echo is acceptable. But two-week Camp Echo trips or other longer family vacations, etc. mean that a player should not tryout)
  • Not miss the final week of the season during the playoffs in late July
  • Play in the EBSA house league (for third through sixth graders only)
  • NOT PLAY WITH ANY OTHER TRAVEL BASEBALL PROGRAM

For more information regarding the EBSA Travel Baseball program, please see https://www.evanstonbaseball.com/travel-baseball or contact Dave Haracz at dolanharacz@sbcglobal.net or Coach Joe Knudsen at jknudsenbaseball8@gmail.com.

Important Dates

EBSA Day at Northwestern Baseball

It was a great day Sunday May 15th at Rocky Miller Park for EBSA Day at the Northwestern Baseball game vs Purdue. Even though the 'Cats lost 7-2, EBSA players were on the field for the National Anthem and ran the bases after the game.

Thanks for a great day Northwestern Baseball! We look forward to doing this again in 2023.
