Registration NOW OPEN for Summer Ball!
Does your 10-14yr old want to keep playing baseball throughout the Summer? EBSA runs Summer House Leagues for Middle, Major, and Pony league players, rising fourth through eighth graders. The leagues are designed for non-travel players with flexible attendance.
We will play other EBSA teams, as well as teams from other nearby towns. If you will be around for at least two-thirds of the Summer, this is the league for you.
Registration is NOW OPEN, and will close on June 14th – no exceptions.
Teams will form quickly, and first games will be played the weekend of June 22nd. There are two games a week and the last game will most likely be July 27th. Summer Ball is a ton of fun, and it’s a great opportunity to keep playing.

How do I know which league my child would be on?
Leagues are assigned by the grade level the child currently attends as of Spring registration. So:
Rookie = Pre-K and Kindergarteners, who turn age 5 by July 28, 2013
Farm 7 = current 1st Graders
Farm 8 = current 2nd Graders
Middle League = current 3/4th Graders
Major League = current 5/6th Graders
Pony League = current 7/8th Graders
When do games take place?
Rookie games are Saturdays at 9am, starting April 20th
Farm games are Sat at 1pm, starting April 20th
Middle League games are Sat at 10:45am, starting April 13th
Major League games are Sat about 3pm, starting April 20th
Softball games have traditionally been scheduled mid-week on Tuesday & Thursday evenings. More details on those soon.
Mid week baseball games will not be determined until we know the number of teams per league. But Farm won’t start playing midweek games until school is out.
How are Teams Formed?
Rookie & Farm League teams are formed with friends/schoolmates and are parent coached with lots of individual attention.
Middle, Major and Pony League teams are not based on requests. Beginning in middle league, teams are formed with parity in mind. Scores/standings are reported and the season ends with playoffs.
When will I hear from my coach about our team?
Teams should receive their information 2 weeks prior to the first game. There may be some delay due to some commissioner and coach volunteers’ Spring Break schedules. Thank you for your continued patience, we are all volunteers and will contact you as soon as possible.
Spring 2013 Registration Details
 EBSA Spring 2013 House League regular registration has closed as of March 8th.
EBSA cannot guarantee to accommodate any special team requests after 3/08/13. And there is the possibility that any late registrants will be put on a wait list.
$60 for 60! Please consider a tax-deductible gift of $60 in honor of EBSA’s 60th anniversary, which will help support EBSA’s scholarship program.

EBSA offers scholarships to eligible players and their families. It is our policy that no player should miss the season for lack of financial resources. We offer full scholarships as well as a sliding fee schedule that is based on household income level. For additional information please do not hesitate to contact EBSA. To request a scholarship please email Mike Hamann (hamann@ameritech.net) or Steve Brown (stevebrownmail@gmail.com) to receive a Scholarship Code before finalizing your registration.
